CETAG suspends nationwide strike
The members of the College of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) have suspended their strike “following an emergency meeting held on 17 January 2022,” an official statement said.
“At an emergency meeting held on 17 January 2022, the National Council of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) agreed unanimously to suspend the indefinite strike across all 46 Ghanaian public colleges of education on confirmation through validation of January salaries the implementation and payment of the 2017-2020 Conditions of Service (CoS)…), the statement said.
“Teaching is restored in all 46 public colleges of education effective Tuesday 25 January 2022…”
CETAG declared an indefinite strike across all 46 Ghanaian public Colleges of Education effective Thursday, 6 January 2022.
